3D product illustration of a beer bottle with condensation droplets

BEER

Product rendering of a beer bottle. Staging something like this in a photo studio is very elaborate and requires a physically existing product.

3D rendering of a beverage can surrounded by ice cubes

DRINK

You can almost feel the cold and refreshment.

3D illustration of a British sports car, a Lotus Elise

LOTUS ELISE

I drove one of these. Then the kids came. Sigh.

3D product illustration of a perfume bottle on a rock

PERFUME

A perfume, staged.

Still from a 3D animation showing Witosa plastic injection molding process

WITOSA

Plastic injection molding attractively presented – here I created an appealing animation from the CAD data of the parts.

3D rendering of a wristwatch

WATCH

Tiny imperfections, like scratches, give this image its realism.

3D rendering of a chocolate bar with caramel

CHOCOLATE BAR

When photography reaches its limits, illustration comes into play.

3D rendering of orange juice with oranges and splash effect

ORANGE JUICE

Photographing something like this is almost impossible, or at least significantly more elaborate and costly than creating it on the computer.

Number 111 as gift packaging with ribbons

ANNIVERSARY

Client: Renzen & Partner, Switzerland. For a client anniversary. Created in a fraction of the time it would take to craft and photograph something like this.

Cosmetic products in a natural setting with lake and ferns, 3D rendering

NATURAL COSMETICS

Of course, you could photograph this; first hire a location scout to find a suitable forest area, then go there with a photographer and assistants after waiting for the right weather, set up the proper lighting, the client wants 'another fern' and 'the tree in the background is disturbing'. Finally, everything is in the box, image editing, the client says the logo changed again, and bottle three is replaced by a tube... The budget for such an adventure is at least five digits. Alternative: hire an illustrator who can create something like this within hours for a low four-digit amount. Change requests can be implemented very quickly and cheaply.

3D rendering of headphones, photorealistic

HEADPHONES

Technical devices – an ideal field for 3D renderings.

3D rendering of an electric motorcycle

MOTORCYCLE

This motorcycle is politically correct because it has an electric motor. Instead of the environmentally destructive roar of an archaic combustion engine, only the whirring of the unit. Do biker gangs then drink mate tea at stops?
